REVIEW: CMT Crossroads Bryan Adams and Jason Aldean

CMT Crossroads has again brought together voices that when put together on stage blend into a magical sound that leaves the listener begging for more. Jason Aldean and Bryan Adams, both independently strong vocalist and songwriters who come from distinctively opposite upbringings and are classified in different musical genres, but together create an out of the ordinary blend of sound.

Taped at The Factory in Franklin, TN, there was not an empty seat in the house. The “invitation only” audience lined the outer edges of the room to fill the standing room only area so they could witness the two powerhouse artist as they bantered and joked with each other; sharing stories that bring a personal aspect to the show.

In typical Crossroads fashion of having the artists sing the others songs, the night could have gone on for several more hours with no complaints from the guests who were on their feet, singing every word, clapping to the beat and swaying with the music to such hit tunes as “Summer of ‘69”, “Why”, “Country”, “Heaven”, “Amarillo Sky”, “The Only Thing That Looks Good On You Is Me” and “Cuts Like A Knife” and more.

Bryan Adams is a Canadian rock singer-songwriter whose career has spanned 29 years since the release of his first album, but he has been performing since age 15 when he quit school to become the lead singer in nightclubs. He is recognized for his Grammy winning song "(Everything I Do) I Do It For You" which spent a record-breaking seventeen weeks at number one.

Jason Aldean is an American country singer-songwriter from Macon, GA who rose to the music scene in 2005 and since then has had seven singles on the Billboard country singles charts, including the two number one hits.
